Picnic Cupcakes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Chocolate or yellow cake mix | |
Filling | ||
8 oz | 227g | Cream cheese - softened |
1 | Egg - lightly beaten | |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Semisweet chocolate chips |
Mix cake according to pkg. directions.
Spoon batter into 24 greased or paper-lined muffin cups, filling two-thirds full.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth. Fold in the chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls into batter.
Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until cupcakes test done.
