Peanut Sauce - 5 Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Peanut butter |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - grated (small) |
1 | Garlic - crushed | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Instant dry milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Honey |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Soy sauce |
Asian chile sauce |
Blend in saucepan over low heat all ingredients. Adjust honey, lemon juice, soy sauce and Tabasco sauce to taste. Add hot water until the mixture has the consistency of heavy cream.
Great possibilities: Over spaghetti with added sauteed mushrooms. Over rice or bulgur with added slivered almonds.
Over tofu hot or cold. As a fondue, dip whole wheat bread cubes in it. As a dessert fondue, dip fruit slices in it.
