Bavarian Dinner

Recipe Ingredients

2   Bavarian-style sauerkraut - (27 oz ea) - undrained
2 lbs 908g / 32ozPolish kielbasa sausage - precooked, and
  Cut into 3" pieces
1   Onion - thinly sliced, (medium)
  Separated into rings
1 teaspoon 5mlInstant chicken bouillon
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCelery seed

Recipe Instructions

In bottom of slow cooking pot, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 pound of the sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 teaspoon boulllon and 1/4 teaspoon celery seed. Repeat layers.

Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with boiled potatoes and an apple raisin salad.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
