Savory Feta-Filled Shells

Recipe Ingredients

1   Frozen chopped spinach - (10 oz) - thawed, well
  Drained
  = (or 1 package (10-oz) fresh spinach,
  Cleaned, cooked and well drained)
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozRicotta cheese
1   Athenos Traditional Crumbled Feta Cheese - (8 oz), divided
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGarlic powder
12   Jumbo macaroni shells for filling - cooked, drained
1 1/2 cups 355mlMarinara sauce

Recipe Instructions

Mix spinach, ricotta cheese, 3/4 of the feta cheese and garlic powder. Fill shells with spinach mixture.

Place in 10- by 6-inch baking dish. Pour sauce over shells. Top with remaining feta cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Make-Ahead Directions: Prepare Savory Feta-Filled Shells as directed except for baking; cover. Refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
