Korean Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sake, or dry sherry |
4 | Ginger root - (abt quarter size) - julienned | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
2 | Garlic cloves - sliced thin | |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Apple juice concentrate |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sesame oil |
Place all the ingredients but the sesame oil in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook 10 minutes, uncovered; then remove from the heat and add the sesame oil.
Store in a covered glass or plastic container in the refrigerator.
