"Finger Lickin" Pickens' Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Ketchup |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | A-1 steak sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Whole celery seed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
23 cups | 3680g / 129oz | Dark brown sugar |
2 | Lemons - juiced | |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Horseradish |
12 teaspoons | 60ml | Garlic powder |
12 teaspoons | 60ml | Sage |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 cup | 237ml | Beer |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Onions - finely chopped (small) |
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring mixture to boil. Simmer sauce over medium-low heat, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
